Clare was a great support for me during my 30 days of Radiotherapy. She is a thoroughly professional person with a calming manner which helps individuals deal with their treatment An assist to the department

Clare managed the entire program for my 25 days of treatment, efficiently and with highest level of care and understanding. i always felt relaxed and confident in her company when the treatment was discussed and when she explained the plan for my sarcoma treatment and follow on surgery.

Honestly I cannot thank Clare enough for being by my side since I first met my Oncologist. She's been an absolute rock of reassurance throughout the radiotherapy process. Always on hand to answer questions and put my mind at rest. I know these things are anonymous but I'd be very happy for you to let her know that Ben Kouijzer was thrilled to meet her and hope she continues to be such a wonderful person for so many other people in my shoes. Thank you

Clare David was my main point of contact through an extended five week period of daily radiotherapy treatment for Sarcoma. She was exceptionally supportive throughout (for me) an intensive process,, and especially so when I hit a crisis point about halfway through, and making sure that she checked up on progress when I came in for the regular appointments (and she responded to phone or email .messages very quickly). I've been really impressed throughout with the radiotherapy team at UCLH and massively grateful - their calm and good-humoured approach really made a difference. Towards the end of the UCLH part of my treatment, I said to Clare that I'd be happy to be part of any future discussions around levels of care (and was happy to be a "guinea pig" for the ontological exams earlier this week). To be honest, I can't immediately think of anything that would have improved my treatment, but I also recognise that there's always room for constructive dialogue - so if I can be at all useful, let me know!

Clare has been amazing throughout the six and a half weeks of my treatment. She comforted me when my treatment was unexpectedly delayed by ten days and has cared for me ever since. Even when away at a conference or on holiday she made sure that I could contact her directly or another appropriate member of staff. She has dealt admirably and diplomatically with staff who have fallen short in their bedside manner. She is always cheerful and has sought me out when needing to see me. Even when passing me in the corridor she has time to smile, say hello or sit down for a few moments to see how I am coping. I cannot praise her enough.
